Hi!
My name is Wynter Jones. I am a 2D artist from Kaysville, Utah, and have been been living and working in Sherwood, Oregon since 2013. I graduated from University of Utah in 2004 with a BFA in painting and drawing. In 2016, I got an M.ED from Portland State University and have been teaching art for the last 9 years.

Currently, I am part of a wonderful art gallery named Imperfecta, which is located in downtown Oregon City. As of now, I am working on a solo show that will debut there December 2025. This body of work will be a resurrection of random stories from my Mormon upbringing. Even though I left the church 25 years ago, the disjointed memories flicker on and off periodically, like many childhood experiences do. I continue to find myself rummaging through the poetry of shame, guilt and fear I knew so well as as child. Through art, I seek to reclaim the teachings of my youth and give them the scrutiny and laughter they deserve.
